This post is for people who still feel that they are not making money on the Internet.
When I started out online I was a complete newbie. I used to browse forums, buy product after product and then expect to be “rich overnight”. However, I soon learnt that was not the way to find success on the Internet. The best way to be successful is to actually take action and find a business model.
Now whether you want to flip websites or sell your own product or even do CPA Affiliate Marketing nothing will work unless you work hard and take action. I look back a few years ago and I often smile and shake my head as to the number of mistakes I made.
Internet Marketing is all about making mistakes and learning from your mistakes. For example, back in 2009 I had a product out called Magical Cash Code – this was a complete flop – I only sold 4 copies!!! Do you believe it?
Now I could have quit after that as my confidence was low and my self esteem was pretty much zero. However, I decided to come back strong and find a way. I decided to sit down see where I went wrong and ask myself “what did the market really want”?
Did they really want a product on membership sites?
This is why it is very important to know your target market before you promote anything online. Success will soon come your way if you learn from your mistakes. Do you remember when you went to school as a child? Do you remember when you took those tests and if you had a right answer the teacher would try and help you and tell you “where you went wrong” – Internet Marketing is the same.
You need to find what you are doing wrong right now and how you can improve your current position.

Hi Imran, first of all – I got to say, you’re a legend. I’m very impressed after reading your blog and other stuff like cpamanuscript. I just have a quick question to ask, I see you’re very good at finding ways to spread your affiliate links etc’, I’m quite young (15 atm
) so I can’t really go into internet marketing, but I really want to start money making online (esp, I want a domain for my site and believe it or not, I’m struggling hard to get it -_-) – I found this GPT service that offers us prize directly after we get enough points/cash (means I don’t need paypal or any other way), its nice but the problem I’m having is almost *all* the surveys that it provides are not available for my country (India) so I can only use the PTC (paid to click) service which provides only 0.00001 USD per click O_O Apparently, the only other way left is referrals. I can get loads of points if many ppl sign up with my referral. I can’t find a way to spread them, any idea how I can spread my referral link like a forest fire? :/ Thanks

It’s very true. Success can only come with anything if you work at it.
A big part of success is knowing what you can be successful at. I’d love to win a gold medal in the olympics, but no matter how much I train, that will never happen.
The same’s true with online marketing. Not every project you choose will be one that you can be successful with. Try things out, research the possibilities, then pick and choose the ones that will work for you. With time and practice success will come.
